Seriously?

This article published in New Zealand gives the briefest of glimpses into modern marriage.  It barely scratches the surface of what modern husbands have to look forward to.  However small, this article is a step into the right direction.  Sadly, few men will admit to the veracity of the article and fewer women want to admit to the possibility of this reality existing (see my last post about solipsism).

Is it any wonder that the birthrate of the Western world is dropping?  Seriously, this really isn't news.

Hat tip to Will S. at Patriactionary.

Not news, but it's rare to see anything published regarding this. In some ways it reminds me of our current "P.C." world- where anything that "someone" has deemed offensive, must be censored and cut-out as if it never existed; and, as you know only too well, men being unhappy in a marriage isn't unusual, but god-forbid we ever say that. After all, we have to "make up for" all the historical wrongs, so even mentioning reverse is heresy.

The thing of it is, marriage has for many morphed into something that is beneficial to women and children and often detrimental to men.

Much I could do to elaborate, but the frank truth is that men are a 'legal' target when it comes to abuse and such, both verbal and physical.
